Meet Coach Khal – Founder & Head Coach at Via-Strength

My journey toward fitness and health started unexpectedly on a quiet afternoon when I was just twelve. Stepping through the front door, ready to greet my grandmother, I was met instead by chaos and grief. There she sat, motionless, the vibrant woman who had nurtured me through my earliest years, now lost to a sudden heart attack. In that crushing moment, I found a question that would shape my life's path: What if we could prevent tragedies like this?

Driven by a deep desire to understand health beyond just the surface, I immersed myself in the science of fitness, longevity, and preventative wellness. Over nearly two decades as a certified personal trainer and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I've guided hundreds from diverse backgrounds—CEOs, chefs, brides, parents, cancer survivors, and post-operative individuals—toward not just immediate transformation, but lifelong health.

Why I Train

This isn't just a profession; it's personal. From witnessing the sudden loss of my grandmother to overcoming my own serious knee injury as a teen athlete, I learned early the limitations of reactive medicine. Modern medicine excels at treating acute crisis—"fast deaths"—but often overlooks the slow deterioration caused by chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and neurodegenerative diseases. The mission became clear: to shift the narrative from reaction to prevention.
